Premier Cru "Marie Forget"

Premier Cru "Marie Forget"

from 250.00

This Brut Champagne is a blend of several of the best Premier Cru parcels owned by this Champagne house. It is an elegant and refreshing wine with a vibrant acidity. The first vintage produced was 1994, an homage to Marie, the daughter of the winemaker (and our beloved co-founder!).

“THIS IS A WELL-MADE CHAMPAGNE WITH EXCELLENT BALANCE. THE CHAMPAGNE MARIE FORGET HAS A LIP-SMACKING MOUTH FEEL, TEMPERED WITH NOTES OF STONE FRUITS SUCH AS PEACH AND APRICOT.”

Fabien Vullion, Head Sommelier at Restaurant Antoine (1 Michelin star)

Meet the winemaker!

For four generations, the Forget family has cultivated vines and then produced a full range of Champagnes from these vines. After Eugène, Paul, and Edmond, Thierry Forget is the current head of the house. Grower-producer and oenologist, he harvests his own vines to produce a superb Champagne. His vineyards span up to 14 hectares and spread across 11 crus. Everything is grown according to sustainable viticulture practices and certified High Value Environmental level 3 (the highest level of certification).
