Côte de Nuits-Villages - Chardonnay

Côte de Nuits-Villages - Chardonnay

from 220.00

The Désertaux’s are faithful precursors to white Côte de Nuits, an appellation where the red version is a star. They continue the family tradition by keeping the Pinot Blanc variety in their assemblages. Combined with a minor percentage of Chardonnay, the variety contributes to the elegance and balance of this cuvée. This is a sure deal!

“THIS WHITE CÔTE DE NUITS SEDUCES WITH ITS FINESSE AND LOVELY PATINA. IN THE MOUTH, IT IS PLEASANT AND BALANCED.”

Bernard Neveu, Head Sommelier of Bristol - Restaurant Épicure (3 Michelin stars)

Meet the winemaker!

Founded in 1899, this estate of 20 hectares is now managed by Christine and her brother Vincent, supported by his wife Geneviève. This family estate prides itself on its authenticity, respect and loyalty. Located in Corgoloin, it is ideally based in the heart of the "côte", where Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune meet. The Désertaux family work in accordance with the finest Burgundian tradition, by preserving the little used Pinot Blanc varietal. You will be able to meet them if you stay in their B&B or visit their cellar.
